Us Pulp Babes got all dolled up this season! Check out how cute we all are (and pick up really rad costume ideas for next year)!

☠☠☠

The Pulp Girls:

We had a costume crisis! We had noooo clue what we wanted, and had a whole list of possible things to be: killer schoolgirls, angels, Sam + Suzy, Wayne + Garth, gogo dancers, tourists, and on and on! We gave up after much anguish and decided to hit up the fabric store with a totally far-out plan: cocktail waitresses from Mars (on break). We made fur-lined lime green dresses worn with green wigs, until we grew bored with them after a couple of parties. Totally quitting our day job, we made purple fur skater skirts and became backup singers from Mars in stripes and fur (of which we sadly have no good pictures developed yet)!

☠☠☠

Saffa:

I was supposed to be a corpse bride (who also has unconditional love for moths).

☠☠☠

Montgomery:

For Halloween I was the best best tv feminist around, Leslie Knope!  I got into Parks and Rec in August of this year (I know, way behind).  And watched the first five seasons in two weeks.  I ordered this Pawnee badge off of etsy, cut a princess wig, and bought a “Pohler-Fey 2016” online.  Slap on a pants suit and I was roaring to go.  Luckily I went to the Rookie Mag Halloween party in Toronto and almost everyone got my costume!

☠☠☠

Chizz:

I look kinda spooked! But, I decided to go as one of my favorite cartoon characters ever, Penny Proud from The Proud Family.  If you were old enough to remember the awesome overload of Disney’s totally cool programming targeted to girls, you’ll remember Penny Proud, y’all. I’m cute, I’m loud and I GOT. IT. GOIN’ ON.

☠☠☠

Paam:

For this Halloween, I was a modern Catrina. I made the hat, the skirt, the socks, and did the make up, and I used my Dr. Martens boots so my costume reflected my usual clothes and I’d be super comfy. Using the hat in a costume is the best of the best, but seriously I’d use this hat like everyday if I could.

☠☠☠

Chey: I’m nearly a bunny every year haha. They’re my favourite animals and I figure I’m so insanely macabre every other day of the year, why not use Halloween to look nonthreatening and adorable; two things I don’t get to be often! The sweater is from Forever XXI and the ears are from a wedding shop (the irony of which is not lost on me; believe it) on Etsy. The face paint is my liquid eyeliner and some cheap acrylic stuff that’s too dry to even make art with anymore. I know, I know, I’m just so glamorous.

☠☠☠

Jules:

☠☠☠

Lohla:

I was — wait for it — /pop punk/

☠☠☠

Izzy P.:

I was Coraline (if the Other Mother had defeated her).

☠☠☠

Audrey P.:

☠☠☠

Justine:

Spent the afternoon in a cemetery reciting epitaphs with one of my best friends. My favorite;

ON THAT BRIGHT ETERNAL SHORE,

WE SHALL MEET TO PART NO MORE.

☠☠☠

Tessa:

I was gilly from snl. (see the whole party post here!)

☠☠☠

Kiki:

I dressed up like every day of the week. For a Halloween party, I was mary jane/mary juana (I had a pencil skirt on full of pot leaves too), then I casually did a Suzy Bishop, then I even more casually did a Coraline, and then for another Halloween party, I was an intergalactic space babe!

☠☠☠

Jordan:

I was going for a witch-y goth-y look. It took more of a pastel goth turn, but I was pretty happy with it. I basically just scoured Etsy & local vintage shops for random accessories. I miss Halloween already!

☠☠☠

Kiya:

Me and my friend went as the murdered Grady twins!

☠☠☠

Keep it spooky all year ’round, babes!! And show us your costumes because we wanna see how rad y’all can be!!
