Whenever I spend time alone, which is about 99% of my life,  my mother fills the air with statements such as, “you never leave your room, I’m going to have to start calling you a hermit.” and, “why don’t you go do something?”  But in all honesty, I accomplish more when locked up in my room with bags of food with the shades drawn, then when I ~socialize~

It’s easy to be alone, but at the same time, painstakingly hard.  It’s so easy to be filled with the sense that you are wasting your teenage life doing nothing when everyone you know is constantly hanging out with their friends and just generally “living” more.   In contrast to that, being alone is cool, it’s solitude. Loneliness is, and always has been perceived as a bad thing.   And it’s just not?? There’s so many things you can do better alone, then you can during forced socialization, and to get over that feeling of “oh I’m wasting my life,” and begin to feel content with your loneliness, I have compiled a list of the best things to do while celebrating your lack of other people.
